The UMIMP Driver Experience

During this two day autocross event, drivers can enjoy the full UMI Motorsports Park atmosphere. Starting from Thursday registration, drivers can pick up their complementary slice of pizza and event tee. Between the morning and afternoon course runs, drivers are offered complementary lunches. On Friday night, drivers and their families are welcome to gather at the community pavilion and enjoy musical entertainment and lawn games.

The fun doesn’t have to stop there! There are plenty of lodging options on the park’s campus so you can spend the whole weekend at the park.

Starting for the 2025 Muscle on the Mountain, we will no longer be allowing co-drivers in the shootout. Co-drivers may still compete in qualifying, but due to the fairness of run distribution, one co-driver MUST be pre-selected as shootout eligible. The non-eligible driver will be able to compete in qualifying only. The co-driver eligibility status may be selected at registration, or before the event. Once the event starts, co-driver eligibility cannot be changed.

The shootout eligible driver will run qualifying with the class the car is classed in. The non-eligible driver will run in a different class.

For 2025, we are allowing drivers to select up to three numbers of their choice. Numbers will be selected in order of first to third choice, depending on availability. If all three numbers are already reserved, you will be auto-assigned a number that may be change before the event.

  1. The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish the minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and, by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have accepted and compiled with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATION OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
    They are intended solely as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK Officials and the decision is final. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH DEVIATION OF SPECIFICATIONS.

  2. No intoxicating spirits or controlled substances are to be consumed before or during race events by anyone entering the pit area of tracks.

  3. Abuse or confrontation of any racetrack or UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK official and/or use of abusive language is strictly prohibited. FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THIS RULE MAY RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM PREMISES, FUTURE EVENT SUSPENSION, AND/OR LOSS OF WINNINGS

  4. Any disputes involving times and/or scoring is under the jurisdiction of the track officials. UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK officials will address winnings, points, or rules interpretations. Any disputes or discussions of this nature are to be held with UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK officials only.

  5. Drivers, owners, and/or crew shall have no claims or actions of any kind against or cause of action for damages of any kind, expenses, or otherwise against UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK, any track owner, promoter, or official by reason of disqualification or damage to either car, driver, or both. This regulation shall be deemed a covenant not to sue made by each driver, owner, and/or crewmember to UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK any track owner, promoter, or official with respect to any alleged act or omission or agreement by any of him or her.

  6. UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK or track officials may inspect any car any time for safety, mechanical, or rules compliance.

  7. ANY RULES OR REGULATIONS NOT COVERED IN THIS DOCUMENT WILL BE DETERMINED ON A TIMELY BASIS BY UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK AND THE DECISION IS FINAL.

  8. MOTOR RACING IS A DANGEROUS SPORT AND MAY RESULT IN INJURY, BODILY HARM, OR DEATH.

  9. The officiating committee shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. No expressed or implied warranty of safety shall result from such alteration of specifications. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK officials and their decisions are final.


TRACK EQUIPMENT AND ON-TRACK INCIDENTS:

During on-track incidents please remain in public areas. UMIMP track officials and their representatives will handle clean-up, removal, etc. 

UNSPORTSMANLKE CONDUCT:


Anyone, be it Car Owner, Driver, Crew Member and/or Family Member who is determined to be guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct on or off the track, INCLUDING SOCIAL MEDIA, could result in suspension from UMIMP, possible disqualification with loss of all points, money and trophy for that race date. 


DETRIMENTAL/VERBAL ABUSE


Anyone, be it Car Owner, Driver, Crew Member and/or Family Member who performs an act or participates in actions deemed by Officials as detrimental to the sport, including but not limited to verbal abuse of any Official could result in a suspension, possible disqualification with loss of all points, money and trophies for that race date. This applies to the Driver and car as well as the individual involved.


 

ASSAULTS OR THREATENS BODY HARM


  1. Anyone, be it Car Owner, Driver, Crew Member and/or Family Member who assaults or threatens bodily harm to any Official or persons serving under his direction could result in a suspension, possible disqualification with the loss of all points, money, trophy for that race date.

  2. Anyone, be it Car Owner, Driver, Crew Member and/or Family Member deemed to be associated with a specific car, who participate in fights in the Pits, on the track, or on the track premises could result in a suspension, possible disqualification with the loss of all points, money and trophy for that race date.


DRUGS/ALCOHOL

  1. NO DRUGS: No driver, car owner or pit crew member shall before, during, or after the event possess, use, consume or distribute any drug, narcotic or controlled substance which is illegal under federal, state or local law prevailing at the motorsports park. UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK has a zero tolerance for illegal drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances. Any violation of this policy shall be grounds for immediate disqualification from the event, expulsion from the speedway grounds, criminal prosecution and imposition of any other discipline (including a lifetime ban) deemed appropriate by the UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK Officials. Any person suspected of possession, use, consumption, or distribution shall submit to a medical examination (which may include blood and/or urine testing) within 24 hours, with the cost of same to be paid by the person suspected and with the written results to be provided directly to UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK. Any substance suspected to be an illegal drug, narcotic, or controlled substance shall be confiscated by speedway security and/or law enforcement officers and may be subject to testing with the cost of same to be paid by the person suspected and with the written results provided directed to UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK.

  2. NO ALCOHOL: No driver shall possess, use, consume or distribute any alcoholic beverage on the speedway grounds before the event or during the event when the driver is still an active driver. 


PERSONS UNDER THE INFLUENCE:


No driver shall be permitted to enter or remain in the pits or infield area while under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drug, narcotic, or controlled substance. Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drug, narcotic, or controlled substance shall submit to a medical examination (which may include blood and/or urine testing) within 24 hours, with the cost of the same to be paid by the person suspected and with the written results to be provided directed to UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK. Any person refusing to submit to a medical examination shall be presumed to have possessed, used, consumes, or distributed a drug, narcotic or controlled substance, or alcohol, and shall be subject to discipline, in the sole discretion of UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK.


NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT


While UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK, has the right to impose discipline for any misconduct that is in violation of any law (such as assault, terroristic threats, public intoxication or illegal drug use), the UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK Officials are not responsible for law enforcement or investigation. Rather, investigation and prosecutions. UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK Officials shall cooperate whenever practicable, but are not bound by any decision of law enforcement and/or security to undertake or to decline an investigation or prosecution.


FINALITY OF DECISIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE:


  1. The decisions of UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK officials or promoter at an event, including the interpretation and application of rules and the scoring of positions, shall be FINAL, BINDING, and NON-APPEALABLE.

  2. All participants, as a condition of participating in an event, agree that ALL decisions of officials or the promoter, regarding the interpretation and application of the rules, and the scoring of positions, shall be NON-LITIGABLE. All participants further covenant and agree that they will NOT initiate any of legal action against UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK the promoter, and officials to challenge such decision, to seek monetary damages, to seek injunctive relief, or to seek any kind of legal remedy. If a participant pursues any such legal action, which violates this provision, then the participant and/or owner expressly agrees to reimburse UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK for ALL of its ATTORNEY FEES and COSTS IN DEFENDING AGAINST SUCH LEGAL ACTION.

  3. By signing the annual registration agreement AND/OR insurance waiver, participants agree that they will comply with the written rules and procedures of UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK. In the event that he or she would breach the annual registration agreement, he or she shall be liable for actual and liquidated damages sustained by UMI MOTORSPORTS PARK.

By agreeing to our Privacy Policy, you agree that your full name, city, state, and vehicle information may be posted on the website, live timing, result data, and social media posts. All other personal information is not shared or distributed in any way.

You also agree to receiving email and/or text updates before, during and after the event for UMIMP to communicate and make announcements for this event.

Event Refund Policy

  • Absolutely no refunds or transfers for any reason 30 days prior to the event start date.
  • No transfers to the following year or any other event within 30 days of the event start date.
  • Refund policy also includes camping spots, infield parking spots and any other additional items purchased.

 

Please understand we need to uphold this policy to allow adequate time to order event supplies and food. Thank you for understanding.

Extra Guests

Your event ticket includes a catered lunch wrist band for the driver. Wrist bands for crew members and family may be purchased for $25 each (within 10 days of the event OR $35 each at the event). This will allow us to better calculate food requirements. Kids 5 and under eat free and do not require a wristband.

If you are unsure, we will be emailing a payment form to add more guests before the event.
